The Problem

Most small retailers — a saree boutique, a footwear stall, an independent electronics seller — have products to sell but no practical way to get online. Building an eCommerce site is expensive and technical, and even listing a single product means writing titles and descriptions, choosing categories, tagging attributes, and uploading images by hand. For a retailer with no website and no point-of-sale system, the barrier is simply too high.

EvoCart removes that barrier entirely. A retailer downloads an app, photographs a product, and the platform does the rest — recognising the item, writing its details, filing it into the right category, building a branded storefront, and putting it up for sale on both the retailer's own site and a shared marketplace. What used to take a web agency and weeks of work becomes a few taps.

What EvoCart Does

EvoCart runs a complete pipeline from a single photo to a live, sellable listing across multiple channels:

Data Collection → Sorting & Cleansing → Data Display → Transaction → Fulfilment → Data Management

A retailer captures a product with their phone camera; AI image recognition identifies it and auto-generates the title, description, and category; the retailer confirms or tweaks a few fields; and EvoCart instantly creates a branded storefront, lists the product on the central marketplace, and can auto-post it to Facebook and Instagram — with payments, commission splitting, and fulfilment handled end to end.

Capabilities

Retailer Mobile App & AI Product Capture (React Native)

  • Sign up and log in via email, phone, or social accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Business profile & onboarding: business name, owner, ABN, address, and ID/KYC details
  • AI logo generator for retailers who don't have a logo
  • Photograph a product → AI image recognition (Google Cloud Vision) auto-generates the product name, description, and category tree (e.g., Women → Saree → Embroidery Saree) with smart drop-down suggestions
  • Add multiple images and fill in manual fields — attributes, price, colour, size, and specifications (e.g., "100% Silk", "Hand made")
  • One-tap cross-posting to Facebook and Instagram
  • Push notifications for new orders and product approvals

AI Store & Site Builder (Next.js)

  • Automatic subdomain and storefront created for each retailer (e.g., retailer.rinzinmarketplace.com.au)
  • Choose from web templates — logo, hero banner (with video and an event calendar for Facebook Live sessions, trade fairs, etc.), fonts, and primary/secondary colours
  • Auto-generated pages: Home, Shop, About, Contact
  • Preview and try multiple templates before publishing; the site goes live only on the retailer's confirmation
  • Retailer dashboard to add/edit/delete products and categories, bulk-upload products, view orders and reports, and manage settings

Central Multi-Vendor Marketplace (Next.js)

  • A shared storefront aggregating products from all retailers
  • Advanced search and filtering, category and individual product pages
  • Shopping cart, checkout, and an order-management system
  • Admin dashboard to manage retailers, products, and orders across the platform

Payments — Stripe Connect

  • Split payments via Stripe Connect destination charges, so each retailer is paid directly
  • Automatic marketplace commission (5% of the purchase) taken as an application fee
  • Express / Custom connected accounts for retailer onboarding with KYC/AML
  • Refund handling that reverses the marketplace commission back to the retailer
  • Multi-currency support

Fulfilment & Returns

  • Flexible shipping: retailer-managed delivery or pick-up in store
  • Order lifecycle tracking (shipped, returned, cancelled) and returns handling

Cross-Platform & Import

  • Automated product posting to Facebook and Instagram
  • Import from an existing store or POS — connect via API or the retailer's e-commerce platform — with automated data cleansing and curation to standardise catalogues (e.g., normalising "shoe" to "footwear")

Admin, Approval & Platform Management

  • User management, product management (image storage, attributes), order management, shipping & returns, retailer payments, CMS, reports, payment gateway, and currency settings
  • Retailer approval workflow — automated ABN / identity verification that runs in seconds, with temporary upload access granted while verification completes (retailers can prepare products but can't publish until verified)

Unified GraphQL API

  • A single GraphQL API powers the mobile app, the retailer storefronts, and the central marketplace — one consistent data layer for products, retailers, and orders.

How It Works — The EvoCart Pipeline

  1. Data Collection — the retailer photographs products in the app; AI recognises each item and suggests details.
  2. Sorting & Cleansing — AI assigns categories and sub-categories and standardises attributes; imported catalogues are cleaned and curated.
  3. Data Display — a branded storefront and product/category pages are generated for review, with template options, then published on confirmation.
  4. Transaction — customers buy through the retailer's site or the central marketplace; Stripe Connect splits the payment and takes the commission.
  5. Fulfilment — retailer-managed delivery or in-store pickup, with returns and order tracking.
  6. Data Management — admin and retailer portals manage products, orders, payments, reporting, and approvals.

Business Model

EvoCart operates as a commission marketplace: RinZin MP takes 5% of each sale as an application fee via Stripe Connect, with the balance settled directly to the retailer. Hosting and domain costs are borne by the platform for the first year, with retailers sharing the cost from year two — lowering the barrier to entry while building a recurring, transaction-aligned revenue stream.

Featured Deployment: RinZin Marketplace (Australia)

EvoCart's flagship deployment is RinZin Marketplace, built for the Australian market — with ABN-based retailer verification, AUD payments, and local delivery/pickup fulfilment. It targets independent Australian retailers who want to sell online without the cost and complexity of building their own eCommerce operation.

Outcomes & Highlights

  • The lowest-effort path to online selling — a retailer with no website and no POS can go from a product photo to a live, branded storefront in minutes
  • AI does the tedious work — image recognition writes product details and categorises items, and can even generate a logo, removing the manual listing burden
  • Every retailer gets their own brand — an auto-built, template-driven storefront on its own subdomain, plus exposure on a shared marketplace
  • Commerce handled end to end — split payments, marketplace commission, refunds, fulfilment, and social distribution built in
  • One platform, many storefronts — a multi-tenant architecture and unified GraphQL API serve the mobile app, retailer sites, and the central marketplace from one core

Roadmap

Planned for future phases (from the product concept):

  • Buyer mobile app for shoppers
  • Bargain / make-an-offer negotiation feature between buyers and retailers
  • Shopify, WooCommerce, and Magento integrations for retailers with existing stores (product, inventory, and order sync)
  • Dedicated domains and hosting per retailer
